Fagan Naghiyev

Fagan Nagiyev has nearly 20 years of international experience across asset management, corporate and investment banking, private banking and institutional advisory. His career began at the International Bank of Azerbaijan in 2007, followed by ABB Bank Moscow (2008–2014) in managerial roles.

From 2015 to 2022, he served as Executive Director at Julius Baer, ultimately heading Institutional Business for Central and Eastern Europe.

Since 2022, Fagan has been a founding partner and Supervisory Board member of Blacktower Street Advisors GmbH (Vienna). He later joined the Executive Leadership Team of Crossinvest Group (Switzerland) and, in 2025, became CEO of Blacktower Street Investment Advisors (Switzerland) GmbH.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a master’s degree in finance, and a Global Executive MBA (University of Minnesota & Vienna University of Economics and Business), complemented by executive programs at Bocconi University, City University of Hong Kong, the Indian School of Business, and the Julius Baer Academy.
